Recently, I had one of those heart-to-heart check-ins with a coaching student of mine. Anticipating words of progress and newfound clarity, her response caught me off-guard. "I feel like I'm going backwards," she admitted. Now, if you had seen the strides we made together in decluttering and organizing her space, you'd share my surprise.
Seeking a clearer picture, I prompted her to share visuals of these so-called messy areas. The photos revealed areas that were not catastrophic by any means, but spaces that simply needed a quick reset. "What's keeping you from resetting your space" I inquired. Her candid reply? "I guess I'm just being lazy."
It's a confession we've all made at one point or another, isn't it? Since our conversation, I've been thinking about her response and I've come to one conclusion about our laziness which I'm sharing with you what I think may be the cure in this episode. Tune in!
